You can also earn more by looking to the left-hand corner, where you’ll see Missions and a stage number. That should give you a hefty amount of gems to start off, but in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, having a lot of gems can never be a bad thing. Tap on that icon and either tap one gift at a time to receive it or tap the button that says, “Receive All.”
There should be a red exclamation point on it, which means you have been awarded gifts. You’ll then want to exit out of your notifications and look towards the box right next to it. There are actually a few different ways to get gems - you should receive some as you go through the tutorial, which will reward you once you complete the beginning duel. The thing is, in order to get packs, you need to buy them from the shop with gems.
In Yu Gi Oh Duel Links you can decide to battle as many people as you want with your basic deck, or you can decide to change things up by buying packs of cards.
